Justin Bieber has been placed on the Ferrari blacklist for breaking ownership terms

Ferrari appears to have blacklisted Justin Bieber for breaking the company’s code of ethics and ownership rules. According to il Giornale, the Canadian pop artist altered the color of his 458 Italia immediately after buying it and then had it auctioned off.

Bieber acquired his second Ferrari, the 458, in 2011. It started off white before being painted electric blue by the renowned West Coast Customs. The Prancing Horse logo was also modified to an electric blue color, and new alloy wheels, bespoke lug nuts, and a widebody kit were installed.

One of the numerous stipulations of owning a Ferrari is that you can’t mess with the engine, make any bodywork alterations, have outrageous painting, or cover the badge. Any modifications must be approved and carried out by authorized parties.

In 2017, Bieber crossed another line by having the automobile auctioned. Customers are prohibited from selling their Ferraris during the first year of ownership, but any subsequent plans for sale must go via Ferrari. This is to prevent flipping.

To be clear, Ferrari will not sell its special or limited edition cars to collectors who own even one Lamborghini model, according to sources. It makes no difference how many Ferraris you have in your stable — their competition is strong.

Prior to the 458, Bieber purchased an unique matte black 430 when he was 16 years old. He will no longer be able to purchase new Ferraris, joining Nicolas Cage, Kim Kardashian, and 50 Cent on the blacklist.
