The fourth installment of the action franchise, which is still going strong, made $73.5 million domestically over the weekend. This surpasses John Wick: Chapter 3’s record-breaking opening weekend at the box office, which stood at $56.8 million in 2019. This is the franchise’s best performance ever.

According to Box Office Mojo, John Wick: Chapter 4 premiered on Friday in 3,855 cinemas throughout the USA. The Chad Stahelski-directed movie made $29.4 million on that single day alone, earning a series of positive reviews and statements of admiration that have stubbornly persisted for nearly ten years after the first movie’s unexpected success.

According to reports, John Wick: Chapter 4 generated an additional $64 million in its first three days of release outside of the United States. The opening weekend’s overall revenue now stands at $137.5 million.

In the fourth episode of the immensely popular series, Keanu Reeves reprises his role as the main character. This time, he takes his conflict with the High Table to a global scale by indulging in crowd-pleasingly Wicked acts in cities like New York and Paris.
