After being injured while snow-plowing, Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in a critical but stable condition in the hospital.

According to a representative for the celebrity, the 51-year-old was airlifted to the hospital on Sunday following the incident at his property close to Reno, Nevada.

Renner was “receiving excellent care” as a result of the “weather-related accident,” they added.

In the US, there have been dozens of deaths due to the blizzard.

Thousands of flights had to be canceled due to the winter storm, which also resulted in power outages.

Renner’s role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is undoubtedly what makes him most famous.

He has also appeared in movies including American Hustle, Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and The Hurt Locker, for which he was nominated for an Oscar for best actor.

For his part in The Town, Renner was also nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actor.
