Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially engaged – again.

 

The 52-year-old singer and actress and the 49-year-old former Batman actor are poised to go down the aisle after confirming their engagement.

The couple started dating in 2002 and were engaged in 2003, but parted in 2004 due to more invasive and press-driven attention.

But now JLo and Ben will become husband and wife after the American actor got down on bended knee and proposed to the chart-topping beauty.

 

JLo personally revealed the engagement via her fan newsletter, On The JLo, in a short video.

“You’re perfect,” the celebrity declares in a video clip while looking adoringly at an exquisite green-diamond ring.

Interestingly, Ben isn’t in the video, but Jen appears to be completely taken aback by her new rock.

In the video, she proudly displays the glittering ring, with the mother of two obviously emotional and fighting back tears of pleasure.

 

Jennifer teased the video with the phrase “Major announcement!” and footage of her grinning and exclaiming, “So I have a really, um… exciting and special story to share.”

Jenny was photographed out and about wearing a large ring on her wedding finger, sparking speculation that the A-List pair had been engaged.

Suspicions were raised when the actress was seen shopping with her 14-year-old daughter Emme in Los Angeles on Thursday.
