Lawerence had given birth somewhere in Los Angeles County, according to the site, which could not confirm the baby’s birthdate or gender. The Oscar winner and her husband, Cooke Maroney, have yet to make the big announcement.
Lawrence’s pregnancy rumors started to circulate last summer, when admirers saw she was wearing what seemed to be a baby bulge. The couple announced their pregnancy in September, but did not reveal the baby’s gender or due date. The Don’t Look Up actor addressed why she’s so private about her personal life and pregnancy in a 2021 interview with Vanity Fair.
“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’” she said. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”
Lawrence and Cooke are expecting their first child. The pair is said to have met in 2018 and married a year later in a ceremony in Rhode Island.
