Jay-Z’s Net Worth Soars To $2.5 Billion

Jay-current Z’s net worth reached $2.5 billion on Friday, at least according to Forbes’ financial experts.

 

According to the most recent data, Jay is now the 1,209th richest person on the planet as of Friday. In 2019, the same year that his Marcy Venture Partners was rumored to have raised $85 million, Jay was first alleged to have attained billionaire status.

 

Jay just concluded a rumored multi-billion dollar deal with Bacardi about his ownership in D’USSÉ after a protracted court dispute that generated a lot of media attention. In essence, the deal saw Jay keep a large ownership stake while Bacardi assumed the majority of the brand’s ownership.

 

“Growing D’USSÉ over the past decade from an idea to one of the fastest-selling spirits in history has been a blessing,” Jay said in a statement at the time of the deal’s announcement. “The next phase of this journey will further cement D’USSÉ’s legacy as one of the world’s most respected brands. I am excited to renew this partnership with Bacardi.”
