Kanye West threw a New Year’s Eve party in the same location as his former wife’s current boyfriend, Pete Davidson, staged his own NYE event with Miley Cyrus on NBC on Friday night.
Ye announced the private event on Instagram just hours before it was to take place. Justin LaBoy hosted the New Year’s Eve Black Party in Miami, Florida, which featured performances by Kanye West and Future.

Kanye’s New Year’s Eve bash comes just days after a source told Hollywood Life that Davidson had invited his girlfriend Kim Kardashian to his New Year’s Eve special.
“As New Year’s comes closer, he has already asked for Kim to join him in Miami, and it is not out of the realm of possibility that they may appear together as the ball drops on the special,” the source said. “He’s leaving it all in her hands on if she wants to join or not, the invite has been made.”
