After its soon-to-air fourth season on HBO, Succession will actually come to an end as predicted. The choice to make Season 4 the series’ swan song was made out of a desire to “go out sort of strong” rather than following a more prolonged path to finality, as creator and showrunner Jesse Armstrong noted in an in-depth New Yorker interview last month.

The latest trailer, which is accessible below, features Jeremy Strong’s Kendall debating enlisting the aid of “death-wrestling ogres” while Brian Cox’s Logan Roy is “terrifyingly mozying.”

As the trailer progresses, Logan gives us another jab at the entire family, but this time with a secret declaration of love.

Beginning on March 26, Succession will make one final HBO appearance.

Since its 2018 debut, the series—which also features Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, and Alan Ruck—has drawn awards and general acclaim. Season 4’s filming started in June of last year, and HBO said at the time that there will be a total of 10 new episodes.
