Harry Kane confirms that he is staying at Tottenham Hotspur this summer

After months of speculation surrounding his future at Tottenham, Harry Kane has confirmed that he will be staying put at Spurs this summer.

Kane has been heavily reported with a move away from the club with Manchester City showing a strong interest in signing the England captain.

However, the 28-year-old took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to reveal that he will be staying with the north-Londoners.

Tottenham owner Daniel Levy has refused to entertain offers from Manchester City with the Premier League champions offering £100m for Kane in June. This is despite the striker insisting that he had a “gentlemen’s agreement” with Levy.

Kane currently has three years remaining on his contract with the club having signed a six-year contract extension with Spurs in 2018.

Entering the final week of the transfer window anything can happen, but for now it looks as though Kane is staying at Tottenham.
