Ghislaine Maxwell receives federal charges for sex trafficking a minor

Ghislaine Maxwell, a former associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has been hit with federal charges after sex trafficking of a minor on several occasions.

It was announced by the prosecution that Maxwell had recruited and groomed a 14-year-old girl to engage in sex activities with Epstein from 2001 to 2004.

Prosecutors also believe that the two had enticed the underage girl to perform massages, which became sexual acts at Epstein’s Palm Beach residence. It is understood that Maxwell and Epstein paid hundreds of dollars in cash for each encounter.

Hollywood Unlocked previously reported that Maxwell had been charged by New York federal prosecutors with conspiracy and luring minors in to travel and engage in illegal sexual actions. The prosecutors also noted the transportation of minors that were involved with criminal sexual activity for allegedly grooming and recruiting underage girls from 1994 to 1997.

Despite these charges, Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to all charges, refusing to believe any of the allegations directed at the 59-year-old.
