Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer after deciding not sign a contract extension with Liverpool at the end of the season.
As reported by the BBC, Wijnaldum had strongly been linked with a move to Barcelona where he would reunite with former Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman at the Camp Nou.
However, the 30-year-old has reportedly received a better offer from PSG, who finished second in Ligue 1 and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettinho is also said to have been involved in talks to bring Wijnaldum to the French capital.
Wijnaldum is currently training with the Netherlands in preparation for Euro 2020 and leaves Anfield having made 237 appearances for the club, winning the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds.
