The first full trailer for Pixar’s “Elemental” has appeared a few months after the teaser trailer.

“Elemental” is described as follows: ”In a city where fire, water, land, & air residents live together, a fiery young woman & a go-with-the-flow guy will discover something elemental: How much they have in common.” Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie play Wade and Ember, respectively, in it. Denise Ream is the producer, while Brenda Hsueh wrote the screenplay. Thomas Newman, a veteran of Pixar, wrote the music.

Peter Sohn, who also helmed “The Good Dinosaur” for Pixar, is the film’s director. For the plot of “Elemental,” Sohn drew inspiration from his early years as an immigrant kid growing up in New York City in the 1970s.

A year has passed since Pixar released “Lightyear,” a “Toy Story” spinoff, and now “Elemental.” There will be another “Toy Story” sequel.

After “Elemental,” Pixar’s sci-fi adventure “Elio” is scheduled for release in March 2024, while “Inside Out 2” will follow in June 2024.

On June 16, 2023, “Elemental” will be released in theaters.
