The Flash’s first trailer has arrived, taking us on a journey with the Scarlet Speedster through the DC Multiverse. One of the last DC movies created before James Gunn and Peter Safran took over as co-heads of DC Studios and started reorganizing the DC Extended Universe is the The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller as the titular hero.

The new trailer, which was unveiled during the Super Bowl, summarizes the major themes of Miller’s upcoming—and possibly final—adventure as The Flash. Barry Allen uses his super-speed abilities to go back in time to save his mother, who was killed while he was only a young boy. Unfortunately, time travel is risky. Barry accidentally alters the timeline and ends himself in various universes where he can’t distinguish between friends and enemies.

The narrative is based on the adored Flashpoint comics’ plot, which drastically restructured the DC universe. The Flash will enable DC Studios start over with a clean slate and only move ahead with the characters that suit the “Gods and Monster” plot, as Gunn and Safran just stated. Although they are soft-rebooting the universe, Gunn has lauded the upcoming film and promised fans it will be an amazing cinematic experience. He also emphasized how it is still a crucial piece of superhero filmmaking.

On June 16, 2023, The Flash is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters. Below is the Super Bowl trailer for The Flash.
