Finn Wolfhard, a Stranger Things actor from Canada, just released “Pieces of Gold” with Emile Mosseri under the name Ziggy Katz.
When You Finish Saving the World, an upcoming A24 movie starring Wolfhard and Julianne Moore, uses the song as its trailer song.
It’s the second item that Wolfhard has publicly released in 2023 as Katz. He also released the spoken word intro “This Is Ziggy Katz” on streaming services.
“Katz refers to his style as ‘classic folk rock’ is quick to add that he ‘hates labels.’ The feeling seems to be mutual,” his humourous bio on Spotify says. It’s not Wolfhard’s first music project: he’s also been a member of Calpurnia and The Aubreys.
The launch date of When You Finish Saving the World is set for January 20. The last season of Stranger Things will air within the upcoming fifth season.
