Following a conversation with Fifa, Belgium won’t be displaying their white away shirts with the word “love” on the collar during the World Cup group stage in Qatar.

It is believed to be a part of a commercial dispute.

In September, Belgium debuted their alternate jersey as a result of an agreement between Adidas and the Tomorrowland music festival.

For the games in their group against Canada, Morocco, and Croatia, they intend to wear their red home shirts.

In a statement when the kit was launched, Adidas said: “With the kit, the Belgian Red Devils and partners involved intend to make a positive, fun statement of LOVE in times of turmoil.”

In September’s Uefa Nations League loss to the Netherlands, Belgium made its debut in the away uniform.

The announcement follows the announcement that England, Wales, and other European countries will not wear OneLove armbands at the World Cup due to the possibility of players receiving yellow cards.

Harry Kane of England and Gareth Bale of Wales were among the captains who had intended to wear the armband during games to encourage diversity and inclusion.

The Fifa campaign, which was originally scheduled to begin in the quarterfinals, has been moved up, and captains are now allowed to wear a “No Discrimination” armband throughout the competition.
