‘Fast X’ Trailer is released

In the first trailer for Fast X, the tenth installment in the Fast and Furious series, Dom, Letty, and the rest of the Toretto family are back for more absurd adventures. The movie’s official Super Bowl spot was released on Friday, but the trailer was just made available online. This trend of releasing blockbuster trailers days before the big game is becoming more and more common. The release date for Fast X is May 19.

 

The first Fast X trailer features Dom facing his greatest fear, loss, with Jason Momoa’s villain Dante pursuing the Toretto team out of revenge for the events of Fast Five.

 

Fast X includes the return of previous series characters like Cypher (Charlize Theron), Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), Queenie (Helen Mirren), and Little Nobody in addition to the regular cast of Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), Mia (Jordana Brewster), Han (Sung Kang), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), and Tej (Ludacris) (Scott Eastwood). A few new characters are also introduced in this film, including Rita Moreno as “Grandma Toretto,” Brian Marcos (Leo Abelo Perry), Tess (Brie Larson), and Dante (Jason Momoa). Louis Leterrier is the director, although Justin Lin, a mainstay of the franchise, wrote the screenplay.
