The Inheritance Cycle series of young adult novels by Christopher Paolini will be the focus of the Eragon TV show that Disney Plus is currently developing.
According to Variety, Paolini will collaborate on the writing of the series, which will center on the events described in Eragon, the first novel in the series. Back in 2006, a film featuring Ed Speleers as Eragon was released, but it received negative reviews and had trouble at the box office.
A farm boy finds a dragon egg in the mountains in the novel Eragon. It was the second-best-selling paperback of 2005 and the third-best-selling children’s hardcover of 2003. It is regarded as one of the 20th century’s most important young adult fantasy novels.
