Monday marked the continuation of Elon Musk’s rocky takeover of Twitter, as the new CEO accused Apple of threatening to remove Twitter from its iOS App Store.
Musk stated in several tweets that Apple has threatened to “withhold” Twitter from its app store but “won’t tell us why.” The founder of Tesla also questioned Apple’s apparent censoring practices, asking “what’s going on here” and tagging Tim Cook, the company’s CEO, in the discussion.
Musk criticized Apple for charging a 30 percent App Store fee in later writings, but claimed that the business had “mostly stopped advertising” on his platform.
What’s going on here @tim_cook?
