Drake Postpones Young Money Reunion After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, Drake has decided to postpone his highly anticipated Young Money Reunion event.

Drake disclosed in a statement that he just tested positive for COVID-19 and that as a result, he will postpone the concert with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” Drake said in a statement shared to Instagram on Monday. “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid).”

The three-day October World Weekend event in Toronto, which began on July 28 with the All Canadian North Stars roster and continues on Friday with a Chris Brown and Lil Baby performance, was announced by Drake last month. Drake referred to last Thursday’s opening event as “the most important night of my life” when addressing the huge crowd.
