Dani Alves plays his first football match in prison

Dani Alves participated in his first football game in prison.

After being rejected for bail, the Brazilian is currently being kept in custody. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub.

He is being imprisoned in Sant Esteve Sesrovires Prison, Brians 2, which is close to Barcelona.

Cristabal Martell, his attorney, is anticipated to submit an appeal to ask for the legendary right-back’s release.

In the interim, Alves’ prison experience has been described in a story by La Vanguardia, according to Marca.

They have verified that Alves had participated in his first football game with other prisoners.

According to reports, the match last Thursday “raised a huge expectation” in the facility, with other inmates eager to see Alves play.

The report does not detail what truly happened during the game, but we assume that Alves performed slightly better than his fellow detainees. After all, he was selected for the World Cup in Qatar by Brazil.

He has also been signing autographs for a number of the prisoners’ cellmates.
