DaBaby’s 2021 year was plagued by scandal, the most notable of which being his homophobic remarks made at Rolling Loud’s Miami festival last summer. DaBaby was dropped from many festivals after the event, but by the end of the year, he was back on large venues including Rolling Loud’s Los Angeles festival. While there was some optimism that DaBaby’s 2022 would be a bit calmer, that notion was swiftly dashed following his confrontation with DaniLeigh’s brother at a Los Angeles bowling alley. DaBaby was involved in another brawl just a few months after that event.
DaBaby was in Columbia, South Carolina on Friday night to perform at the Colonial Life Arena for the Spring Jam 2022 event. Kodak Black, Renni Rucci, NoCap, Boosie, and Webbie all performed during the event. DaBaby got into a fight with his artist Wisdom at some point throughout the night, and the two traded fists. DaBaby swings on Wisdom, who is signed to his Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment label, as he walks backstage. Both DaBaby and Wisdom landed blows, but the brawl was immediately broken up owing to neighboring security guards, workers, and police officers.
It’s unclear what sparked the fight between DaBaby and Wisdom, but it comes after DaBaby was accused of shooting an intruder at his house in North Carolina earlier this month.
