Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut for Al Nassr in their 1-0 Saudi Pro League victory over Ettifaq on Sunday.
The 37-year-old forward from Portugal joined the team last month under a contract that lasts through 2025 and is rumored to earn more than £177 million annually.
The Brazilian midfielder Talisca scored the game’s winning goal while he captained the line and played the entire match.
Al Nassr are in first place in the Saudi league, one point ahead of Al Hilal in second.
At King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Ronaldo—who has played for Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid—was greeted by banners and cheers from his devoted supporters.
It follows his two goals in Thursday’s exhibition loss against Lionel Messi’s Paris St. Germain, 5-4, for the Riyadh All-Star XI.
