In Manchester United’s 3-2 triumph against Arsenal on Thursday, the attacker scored his 801st goal of his career.

 

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United scored his 800th career goal in all competitions against Arsenal on Thursday, before scoring the game-winning penalty from the spot to complete a 3-2 victory.

The forward is the all-time greatest men’s goalscorer, and since returning to the Red Devils, he has proceeded to achieve huge milestones.

In 2021, Ronaldo has a habit of scoring in crucial circumstances, as he has scored at least once in each of his five Champions League matches, including two late victories, and he has six Premier League goals.

 

“Incredible,” midfielder Bruno Fernandes told Amazon of Ronaldo. “We all know he is improving game by game, year by year.

“He wants to keep being the best and that’s what he did. He knows how to self-motivate.”
