Cristiano Ronaldo has said farewell to his teammates at Juventus for the last time having exited the club’s training ground on Friday morning.
It comes after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is inching closer to joining Manchester City with both clubs working on agreeing a transfer fee for him.
As reported by Sky Sports, the Portuguese superstar spent an hour and a half at the club’s Continassa training ground on Friday morning as the first-team were getting ready for training.
Jorge Mendes met with board members at Juventus on Thursday night to confirm that Ronaldo no longer wanted to play for the Serie A giants as Man City are discussing terms to sign the 36-year-old.
Ronaldo is in the final year of his contract with the Turin-based side with Juventus asking for a €25m transfer fee on top of the player’s staggering £500k per-week wages.
Although Juve are yet to receive a bid for Ronaldo, there is still time to agree on a sum with the transfer window ending on Tuesday.
