Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first person to reach 300 million followers on Instagram, behind only to the platform’s official account that has 397 million followers.
The Juventus star leads The Rock by 54 million followers with Ariana Grande third on the most followed people list with 244 million followers.
It’s no surprise that with all the success that Ronaldo has achieved on the field and his marketing appeal off of it that he leads the way in terms of followers on Instagram.
The 36-year-old has also maintained his strong relationship and following with fans of former clubs including Real Madrid and Manchester United as well as his icon status in Portugal, for whom he is currently representing in Euro 2020.
