Conor McGregor was riding his bike in Ireland when he was struck by a car, just missing a serious injury.
On Friday, McGregor used Instagram to shed light on the incident. He shared a video of himself saying, “I could’ve been dead there” to the driver of the car that hit him.
The driver initially apologized to McGregor at the start of the video, and then the MMA legend gave the man his blessing. Conor said, “All good, mate, all good.” “Don’t worry it about it.”
The brief video was ended with McGregor saying, “I’m still here.” “Thank God. That’s all that matters.”
McGregor subsequently posted about the incident on Instagram, writing, “Got a bang of a car just now from behind. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me. Full speed straight thru me. Thank you God, it wasn’t my time. Thank you wrestling and judo also. Having an awareness on the landing saved my life.”
