Conor McGregor tells Chelsea he’s interested in buying the club

Conor McGregor, an ufc legend, has expressed interest in purchasing Chelsea FC.

The Irishman announced his interest amid rumors that current owner Roman Abramovich is considering selling the club owing to the potential of UK government sanctions on Russian businessmen.

According to reports, Abramovich is seeking £3 billion for the world champions.

Taking to Twitter, McGregor shared an image of a WhatsApp message in which he told someone that Chelsea was for sale at £3bn and that ‘they should buy it.’

He then posted an animated video of himself visiting various sections of Chelsea’s training ground and offices with the caption ‘Push it to the limit.’

McGregor’s interest in owning Chelsea is a surprising discovery, given that he is a die-hard Manchester United supporter. He has previously indicated interest in purchasing the Red Devils.

The Irishman’s ability to afford such a high price tag remains an open issue.

The 33-year-old earns between £25 and £50 million every UFC bout, with pay-per-view ratings playing a big role.

McGregor allegedly sold his full ownership in the Proper No12 whiskey brand for £430 million last year, making it his highest-earning business.
