The former 36-year-old kickboxing champion felt the need to inform the 19-year-old climate activist about his gas-guzzling fleet of vehicles in an odd tweet sent out on Tuesday. “I have 33 cars,” he tweeted. “My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.”

In a brilliantly simple response, which has since garnered over 1.4 million likes in comparison to Tate’s 143k, Thunberg tweeted, “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at [email protected].”

Tate added, “How dare you?!” in response. The remark refers to a well-known statement Thunberg gave in 2019 at a UN Climate Summit.

Tate’s material, which is frequently seen as misogynistic and cruel, has garnered a lot of attention in 2022. Although he has long been engaged in far-right communities, this year saw him break out into the public via to websites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. He has been blocked on a number of social media and video-sharing websites, and in 2017 he was also blocked from Twitter for suggesting that sexual assault victims should “bear some responsibility.”
