Chelsea has had their opening offer for Erling Haaland rejected by Borussia Dortmund with either Tammy Abraham and/or Callum Hudson-Odoi involved in the deal.
As reported by Sky in Germany, Dortmund are eager to keep hold of their 20-year-old talisman who scored 48 goals in 51 games for both club and country last season.
Chelsea are determined to sign a new striker this summer after their struggles in front of goal last season. Abraham and Germany’s Timo Werner were the club’s joint-top scorers with 12 goals each. Having won the Champions League, the Blues are showing clear signs in looking to bolster their attacking force.
Europe’s elite have shown an interest in Haaland, especially with the Norwegian having a £70m release clause in his Dortmund contract. As reported by Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been involved in negotiations to find out if they could buy him this summer at a premium price.
