Chadwick Boseman’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, accepted the late actor’s Golden Globe in an emotional speech during Sunday night’s ceremony.
At the virtually held ceremony, Taylor was reeling off the names of those her husband would have thanked if he were still alive to accept the honour for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama.
Ledward started her speech saying Chadwick would credit God and his parents with mentions of the Black Panther actor’s team, both on and off the set of ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.’ Taylor, as quoted by TMZ, concluded, “We have to take all the moments to celebrate those we love, so thank you HFPA for this opportunity to do exactly that.”
