Billie Eilish stops her performance to assist a fan who was unable to breathe

The pop star called a pause to her Happier Than Ever Tour performance at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Saturday night after noticing a fan in the front row struggling to breathe. Eilish requested that her followers allow the girl some breathing room after inquiring if she needed an inhaler and then asking her staff if they had one on available.

“It’s OK, we got one,” Eilish said. “Give her some time. Don’t crowd.”

She later asked the fan if she wanted to be moved to help her breathe, and even double-checked to make sure she was OK, before mouthing “I love you.”

“I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” Eilish said, with some outlets interpreting it as her throwing shade at Travis Scott.

Scott, Live Nation, and others are currently dealing with the legal fallout from the catastrophic Astroworld Fest in November of 2021, which resulted in the deaths of ten concertgoers. Hundreds of people were hurt as a result of the incident.
