This week, the Grammy-winning musician visited the UAE to perform her first live set in more than four years. For the unofficial launch of the fancy hotel Atlantis the Royal, which allegedly paid up to $24 million for Queen Bey’s performance, an invite-only gala was hosted, according to TMZ.
“At Last” by Etta James opened the 75-minute performance, which then featured some of Beyoncé’s biggest hits and a duet with Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy.
According to TMZ, guests were instructed to hand in their cellphones before the performance and were not allowed to video the concert; nonetheless, some managed to smuggle equipment inside the arena and recorded significant moments from the event.
