The Gone Girl actor was spotted on Tuesday working the drive-through at a Dunkin’ in Medford, Massachusetts. America runs on Dunkin’, printed on a black shirt and hat that Affleck wore as part of the franchise’s uniform.
It’s rumored that Affleck was filming a Super Bowl commercial, according to TMZ. The 50-year-old’s wife Jennifer Lopez briefly seemed to join in on the fun at one point. Affleck handed her a caffeinated beverage as she arrived in a white pickup.
Along with J.Lo, Affleck also assisted a regular client. The incident was captured on Instagram by the person in question. Thank you for my coffee this morning, @benaffleck @jlo! Lisa Mackay, a client, captioned the exchange.
When he was done filming, Affleck took a moment to thank the crew. He made a joke about wanting to move up on the leadership board. “Thank you Dunkin’. Now listen, when I come back here I don’t wanna be in 16th place,” he said.
Affleck has long been open about his fondness of Dunkin’. In the year 2020, he turned into a popular meme after being seen abandoning his drink and meal orders. He discussed how his connection to the brand aided its growth the year before.
“I have Dunkin’ Donuts every day,” Affleck explained to Collider at the time. “It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, ‘Where is that? Is that near here?’ So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”
