Bella Hadid was sprayed with a liquid that transformed into a wearable outfit to conclude Coperni’s Spring/Summer 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week on Friday.
As a bunch of scientists sprayed her with the substance, Hadid appeared in public wearing only her underpants, as captured by New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman. According to Vogue Business, the moment served as the show’s grand finale and made use of a spray-on method created by Spanish fashion designer Manel Torres’ company Fabrican.
They eventually covered Hadid with enough of the dress spray that she could raise her arms. When it appeared that the dress was finished, another person arrived to add some manual finishing touches to her costume.
When it was finished, she exited with designer Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant to meet the audience while walking around in the gown and posing for photos.
