FC Barcelona is expected to announce a jersey and stadium sponsorship deal with Spotify on Monday, according to Catalan radio station Rac1.
According to Rac1, the LaLiga team has signed a three-year agreement worth 280 million euros ($320 million) with the streaming music platform.
The contract would see the Spotify emblem on the shirts of Barcelona’s men’s and women’s teams, as well as the firm, being the first brand to sponsor the club’s Camp Nou stadium, according to the source. An official announcement is planned for Tuesday.
Since 2017, Japanese retailer Rakuten has been the official shirt sponsor of the men’s squad, while toolmaker Stanley Black & Decker has been the official shirt sponsor of the women’s team since 2018.
Barcelona and Spotify could not be reached for comment right away.
