Arsenal agree £45m Gabriel Jesus transfer fee with Manchester City

In regards to Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City and Arsenal have verbally agreed.

Since Jesus’ agent publicly announced the “project” that is Arsenal, rumors have been circulating that the announcement will indeed come true.

Since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left for Barcelona, the Gunners have been eager to improve their offensive options. In contrast, Jesus has been forced to deal with Pep Guardiola’s decision to play him seldom despite his ability to shine when given the chance.

And it appears that the two clubs have finally struck a deal for the 25-year-old after difficult and protracted discussions.

Fabrizio Romano, a well-known transfer expert, made the announcement.

Romano tweeted: “Arsenal and Manchester City have reached full verbal agreement today for Gabriel Jesus. Deal in place after new meeting – been told guaranteed fee is £45m.

“Arsenal are now working on personal terms with Gabriel’s camp – final step to get the deal completed very soon.”

According to UK media, Arsenal and Manchester City have agreed on a £45 million transfer fee for the 25-year-old striker, which might pave the way for Gabriel Jesus to join the club. The Gunners were allegedly asking for £30 million, which is much less than City’s £ 50 million asking price, but Tottenham allegedly entered the contest, giving them more incentive.
