Antonio Rudiger goes viral for his running style vs Japan

 

 

The Real Madrid player’s unique and wonderful style of sprinting has gained him a reputation on many times in the past.

And Rudiger once more made spectators laugh as Germany faced Japan in their debut World Cup match in Group E by sprinting full-tilt to win the ball from a Japanese attacker.

The Japanese right-winger Asano is raced to the ball by the German center-back in a video posted on Twitter.

At first, it appeared to be a very tight race, but Rudiger then channeled his inner 100-meter sprinter, thrilling the crowd.

 

Japan defeated European powerhouse Germany on Wednesday, causing the second major upset of the Qatar World Cup.

The Germans were heavy favorites going into the match at the Khalifa International Stadium, and they appeared to be in charge after seizing the lead on an Ilkay Gundogan penalty kick in the first half.
