Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury set for Saudi Arabia, Promoter Eddie Hearn confirms

The much-anticipated world heavyweight title fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is set to be held at Saudi Arabia on August 7 or 14, promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed.

According to Sky Sports, Hearn has been “frustrated” over the time it has taken for the fight to be confirmed with a date and time still undecided. The British boxers were in a social media message war ahead of their bout this summer as Fury is yet to agree on the deal.

However, the Matchroom managing director believes that the fight will officially be announced this week.

The two fighters have been out of action for a fair length of time to his date. Fury’s last match saw him defeat Deontay Wilder to claim the WBC title last February. Joshua defended his WBA, IBF and WBO belts after knocking out Kubrat Pulev in December.
