‘Amsterdam’ Trailer With Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, Chris Rock, Taylor Swift and More is Released

The chaotic trailer for David O. Russell’s upcoming, star-studded movie Amsterdam was released by 20th Century Fox on Wednesday.

Three friends — played by Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington — are accused of murder and swear to “protect each other… no matter what” as the video opens with Chris Rock’s character finding a “dead white man in a box.” To investigate the claim, the group enlists the assistance of a close source (Robert De Niro), who claims to have witnessed “something monstrous” kill his comrade.

Additionally starring Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, and Rami Malek, the star-studded movie was written and produced by Russell. The historical drama blends historical fact and fiction under the motto “A lot of this actually happened.”

Producing alongside Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas, Russell, and Bale is Arnon Milchan of New Regency. Sam Hanson, Michael Schaefer, and Yariv Milchan are executive producers.

On November 4, Amsterdam will have its theatrical premiere.
