After Astroworld, Travis Scott’s First Big Solo Show Sold Out in Less Than Two Hours

The venue’s sellable capacity of slightly under 16,000 people, where Scott was scheduled to perform on August 6, was initially sold out in less than two hours. The announcement of a second performance for August 7 was urged by this demand.

Due to high demand from fans, Travis Scott has scheduled a second performance at London’s O2 Arena.

The two O2 gigs, along with Scott’s busy Fourth of July weekend, were cited by a Scott spokeswoman as the “latest signs” that fans are eagerly anticipating his full comeback to live performances.

“Travis’s packed weekend performances and [the] fact that his O2 show in London sold out within two hours are just the latest signs that fan demand is sky-high for the return of one of the world’s favorite artists,” the spokesperson said.

After spending a lot of time in the studio, Scott informed fans it was “time to take it to [a] bigger speaker” while announcing the first O2 show on Instagram in June. Scott’s sequel to blockbuster Astroworld from last year, Utopia, is anticipated to release later this year.
