After Gremio’s 3-1 loss to Palmeiras on Sunday, there were some rather disturbing moments.
After the full-time whistle had been blown, fans from the home team swarmed the pitch at the Arena do Gremio and attempted to demolish the VAR area.
As the commotion unfolded outside, Gremio players were forced to seek cover in the tunnel and dressing room.
As things became very, very violent in Porto Alegre, a small group of supporters attempted to fight with stewards and hurled fists.
