France’s shock knockout in Euro 2016 at the hands of Switzerland on penalties on Monday has seen the mother of midfielder Adrien Rabiot clash with family members of Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe.
The tensions brewed during the match in Bucharest as Veronique Rabiot clashed with members of Pogba’s family after the Manchester United man’s misplaced pass allowed Switzerland to score a dramatic late equaliser.
As reported by RMC Sport via JOE UK, Rabiot’s mother exchanged words with Pogba’s family, questioning how he could lose the ball in the fashion that he did.
Veronique continued to voice her opinion up till the last kick of the ball which saw Mbappe have his penalty saved as Switzerland caused the biggest upset of the tournament. Mbappe’s family and Veronique exchanged words after the miss, asking to tell his son to be less arrogant.
