Adele’s Las Vegas residency has been postponed in a tearful video statement

Adele has revealed that her much-anticipated residency in Las Vegas will be postponed. In an emotional Instagram video posted, the singer revealed the news. “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” she said in the clip. “We’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew half my team are down with COVID—they still are—and it’s been impossible to finish the show. And I can’t give you what I have right now. And I’m gutted.” Adele also announced that all of the dates will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

Yesterday was supposed to be the start of the residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum on the Las Vegas Strip. Adele was supposed to play every Friday and Saturday until April 16, with a small break on February 18-19 (due to Van Morrison’s scheduled appearance at the venue that weekend).
