Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 40 years old, he shows no signs of slowing down.
The Swede is still competing at the greatest level, with AC Milan vying for the Serie A title while still competing in the Champions League.
And he showed he still has it during Roma’s match against AC Milan on Sunday night.
Milan knew they needed to win to keep equal on points with Napoli at the top of the table after they narrowly defeated Salernitana earlier in the day.
Thanks to Zlatan, they were able to accomplish this.
A wonderfully executed free-kick by the Swede gave him the lead in the first half.
It was his 400th league goal, and his 150th in Serie A, in his career.
“Every now and then, I pull a surprise! You must always give it a go, as failure is part of success, so you keep trying,” Ibrahimovic told DAZN about his free-kick clocked at at 101km/h.
“It usually goes quicker! At least 200kmh! I think I must be slowing my shot in old age,” he added.
