A new trailer for Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun Maverick’ has been released

On Tuesday, a new trailer for Tom Cruise’s highly awaited film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was released, showing the actor reprising his legendary character of Captain Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, who is now a high-flying test pilot and instructor.

The film is a sequel to the 1986 classic picture ‘Top Gun,’ and it has all the ingredients to keep viewers riveted to their seats: thrills, drama, and action.

The sequel takes place decades after the 1986 film and stars Miles Teller as the son of Anthony Edwards’ pilot Goose, who was killed in the previous film during a training exercise.

The new film exposes viewers to the Navy’s newest generation of elite pilots, with one of them even posing the question, “Everyone here is the best there is. Who the hell they’re gonna get to teach us?”

Maverick, played by Cruise, arrives on his high-powered Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorbike. At the request of Val Kilmer’s Admiral Kazansky, alias Iceman, he returns to train and command the new pilots.

Joe Kosinski directed the film, which was written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, and Eric Warren Singer and directed by Joe Kosinski.

Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced the original picture with late Don Simpson, is also producing the sequel with Cruise and Skydance CEO David Ellison. On May 27, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ will be released in theaters.
