There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur but the club captain could well be returning to team training on Friday.
Much was made about Kane’s decision to decide not to turn up for training during pre-season tests on August 2nd. Instead, he arrived at the ground five days later.
Sky Sports reports that a negative PCR test result will allow the 28-year-old to return to training at Spurs for the first time this season.
In this period of isolation, Kane has been staying at the training ground hotel, The Lodge, since Saturday having arrived in the UK from the Bahamas via Florida.
Kane would join team training under new Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo for pre-season tests just two days before Spurs face Manchester City in their Premier League opener at White Hart Lane.
The England skipper has been linked heavily with a move to the Premier League champions and with over two weeks remaining in the transfer window, there may be another twist in Kane’s future.
