Kodak Black toured around Golden Acres in Pompano Beach, Florida, to gift locals with 100 air conditioners worth $12,500.
The rapper knocked on residents’ doors with a special surprise as temperatures in the area have been sweltering to say the least. In July, it reaches above 30° C with 79% humidity and these are the figures just after the first week of the month.
As reported by TMZ, Kodak is very popular in Florida as in the Broward County, June 11 is commonly referred to as Kodak Black Day.
His assistant on the day, Francky Pierre, who manages the charity, Philanthropic Work and Outreach, helped Kodak deliver the units.
Kodak received a commutation due to his charity work having served half of his 46 months in prison for two counts having made a false application in trying to gain access to a firearm.
