Facebook users will soon be able to show off their rapping and freestyling skills with the social network introducing ‘BARS’ to its platform.
Following Tik-Tok’s model, short clips of up to 60 seconds can be recorded where users can share their videos across multiple social media outlets.
The app is still at the early stages of production and according to some sources via Hypebeast, BARS doesn’t come across as completely intuitive. There is no pause button and following other users is yet to be figured out. However, it’s likely that these problems will be resolved prior to the platform’s official launch.
BARS will also feature auto-tune and rhyme-dictionary themes along with freestyle games where users will need to include auto-generated words to their freestyles.
