Here is Quavo’s most recent solo release, “Honey Bun.”
In one of his tweets promoting the track with the hashtag #RocketPower, he made a reference to the late Takeoff. The below music video, which was directed by Keemotion, ends with a title card that promises “Rocketpower all summer.” Quavo can also be seen nostalgically sifting through handwritten tracklists for Migos albums like No Label 2 (below) and Culture III, as well as lyric papers for songs like “Look at My Dab” and other popular hits.
The song “Greatness” by Quavo from February paid homage to his late nephew and fellow Unc & Phew co-creator. A powerful rendition of “Without You” was delivered by him just a few weeks before for the Grammys’ “In Memoriam” segment.
