After injuring himself during the pregame warmup against Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant will have to wait at least three additional weeks before making his Phoenix Suns debut at home.
Before the Suns defeated the Thunder 132-101 in the NBA, Durant injured his left ankle.
The 34-year-old was acquired by Phoenix in a deal with the Brooklyn Nets in February.
Durant made his NBA debut for the Suns, who are currently second in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, scoring 23 points against Charlotte and averaging 26.7 points over his last three away games.
The forward is having a difficult season owing to injuries; while playing for Brooklyn, he already missed over eight weeks due to a knee sprain.
